**Always have backup plans (hotel or place to stay, routes, etc.) most especially if you’re traveling with kids.
**Create a checklist of the important things you need to bring.
**Plan your activities ahead or create an itinerary.
**Try do some research about hotels, places to eat and even the places included in your itinerary (how to get there, local transport cost, etc.) so you’ll know what to expect and what do if you encounter any bumps during your vacation!
**Always get the contact info of your hotel and better have a hard copy of important contacts with you (just in case you lose your phone).
